Mathew 24:37-39 (GNB)

The coming of the Son of Man will be like what happened in the time of Noah. In the days before the flood people ate and drank, men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat; yet they did not realize what was happening until the flood came and swept them away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes.

2nd Peter 3:5-7 (GNB)

Long ago God gave a command, and the heavens and earth were created. The earth was formed out of water and by water, and it was also by water, the water of the flood, that the old world was destroyed. But the heavens and the earth that now exist are being preserved by the same command of God, in order to be destroyed by fire. They are being kept for the day when godless people will be judged and destroyed.

Luke 12:54-56 (LB)

Jesus then turned to the crowd and said, "When you see clouds beginning to form in the west, you say, 'Here comes a shower.' And you are right. When the south wind blows you say, 'Today will be a scorcher.' And it is. Hypocrites! You interpret the sky well enough, but you refuse to notice the warnings all around you about the crisis ahead."

For yourselves know very well that the Day of the Lord will come as a thief comes at night.

Matthew 24:42-44 (GNB)

Watch out, then, because you do not know what day your Lord will come. If the owner of a house knew the time when the thief would come, you can be sure he would stay awake and not let the thief break into his house. So then, you also must always be ready because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.
